InfraScrim is an ultralight, modular camouflage strap designed to reduce the thermal and visual signature of weapons and gear. Each strip measures 60 cm x 8 cm and features two functional surfaces:

• Side A is multispectral and helps reduce IR contrast on heated weapon components after firing.

• Side B carries a traditional camouflage pattern for environments where visual blending is the priority.

The strap can be cut, woven through MOLLE, or linked together via its hexagonal cutouts to form longer sections.

Each pack includes three strips that can be used individually or interconnected. The modular geometry allows InfraScrim to be applied to handguards, heat shrouds, and other warm weapon surfaces without obstructing ventilation or interfering with mechanical parts. It can also be trimmed into shorter segments to create a scrim effect on gear, helmets, or packs.

In practical use, InfraScrim prevents the weapon from appearing as a solid “hot block” on thermal imaging after firing. It breaks up the thermal outline and reduces contrast against the background. In the visual spectrum, it disrupts the weapon’s silhouette and helps it blend with surrounding terrain. InfraScrim is suitable for patrol, reconnaissance, OP positions, and quick field-expedient ghillie applications.

Instructions for Use

1. Choose whether you need the multispectral side or the visual camo side outwards.

2. Apply the strap to cooler sections of the handguard and work forward.

3. Avoid areas with extreme heat, especially suppressors and muzzle devices.

4. Link strips through the hex cutouts if additional length is needed.

5. Do not cover ventilation ports or moving weapon components.

6. For a ghillie-style scrim, cut the strap into short segments and weave through MOLLE.

7. Allow the strap to dry fully before storage.

FAQ

Can I use InfraScrim on a suppressor?
No. InfraScrim is not a suppressor cover and is not rated for extreme temperatures.

Can the strips be connected?
Yes. The hex cutouts allow two pieces to be joined. Expect to lose approx. 10 cm in overlap.

Does the strap have two functional sides?
Yes—one multispectral IR-reducing surface and one visual camo surface.

Can I use it as scrim on gear?
Absolutely. Cut short segments and weave them into MOLLE or attachment points.
