BivyUltra is a survival bivy designed for situations where you need a quiet, secure night’s sleep in harsh environments.

It protects the user from rain, cold, insects, and also helps reduce thermal contrast across NIR, MWIR, and LWIR bands. The construction is fully passive and requires no electronics.
A highly breathable membrane vents moisture outward, keeping the sleeping bag dry even around freezing temperatures—meaning no morning condensation and no need for drying gear.

The integrated head shelter creates a stand-off space around the face, preventing the membrane from contacting exhaled breath—significantly reducing condensation risk. A fine mosquito net provides full insect protection, enabling sleep in jungle, desert, and forest environments.
The bivy can be used on the ground or as a protective shell around a hammock. The entire system deploys in under two minutes and packs to under one kilogram.

In practice, BivyUltra helps mask the user from thermal imaging by decreasing contrast against natural backgrounds. Effectiveness depends on terrain, airflow, and placement, but correct positioning in shade or near textured structures greatly improves concealment.
The membrane’s high waterproof rating performs in heavy rain and wet snow, and its treated surface resists small embersfrom a campfire.

FAQ

Yes. It lowers contrast across multiple spectral bands. Effectiveness depends on placement and movement.

Normally no. The membrane vents vapor outward, and the head shelter prevents exhalation contact.

Yes. The high waterproof rating performs well in wet, cold conditions.

No. It resists small embers but not direct flames.

Yes—thanks to the head shelter and anchor points.
