The InfraTarp 33 is a 3×3 meter multispectral concealment tarp designed to reduce the thermal and near-infrared (NIR) signature of vehicles, equipment, and personnel. The InfraHex material manages emitted heat and creates a surface that appears far less prominent to ISR drones and thermal sensors. The tarp is waterproof, windproof, and highly durable—built to withstand heavy field use. It features two functional sides:
Side A – multispectral surface optimized for IR signature reduction,
Side B – traditional camouflage pattern for standard visual concealment.
A reinforced 1×1 meter webbing grid distributes load across the entire surface, increasing strength and structural stability. Tie-downs and grommets placed around the perimeter and at the center allow the tarp to be tensioned, linked with additional tarps, or configured into shelters and hides for teams or equipment. The InfraTarp 33 ships with 20 meters of paracord and packs into a Cordura MOLLE pouch for rapid access in the field.
In operational use, the tarp reduces the thermal contrast of sun-heated vehicles or electronics stored in containers—especially at night, when they typically appear as bright hot spots on thermal imagers. It suppresses obvious thermal anomalies and brings them closer to the ambient background. When combined with camouflage netting or vegetation, it further improves shape disruption and visual breakup. The InfraTarp 33 is a tool for scenarios where reducing detectability buys time and space before an asset is located.
