SupCover Ti is a metal suppressor cover engineered for scenarios where reducing a weapon’s thermal and IR signature is essential while maintaining safe handling after extended firing.
The construction combines titanium and Inconel—two high-temperature alloys known for their resistance to heat and deformation. A controlled standoff gap between the suppressor and the cover slows heat transfer to the outer surface, reduces thermal visibility, and minimizes optic-distorting mirage. Even after multiple magazines, the cover can be removed with gloves, stowed in a pouch, and cools down rapidly.
SupCover Ti mounts using a custom-machined collar tailored to a specific suppressor model. This ensures a precise fit with no rotation and no interference with suppressor performance. In the field, that means easier handling during reloads, significantly lower thermal signature, and a cleaner sight picture when moving or engaging through optics. Compared to textile wraps, it offers far greater durability, higher heat tolerance, and superior behavior during rapid removal.
In practice, it’s primarily about heat control. After sustained fire, a suppressor glows in the thermal spectrum and produces a pronounced mirage wave that distorts the sight picture. A metal cover mitigates these effects and gives the user more operational freedom without losing visual clarity.
